Magic Mountains Zauchesee is a fantastic holiday experience and is ideal for families with young and older children, singles and couples who are looking for fun in the outdoors, mountains, sport, water sports and fresh air!  An idyllic Alpine and lake landscape is just waiting to be discovered. Park the car on arrival and it won't be needed again! Everything needed for a relaxing and fun filled holiday is within a radius of 500 metres.
Tackle the World Cup Downhill piste (on foot of course!), and enjoy the spectacular backdrop of the Dachstein Mountains and the local peaks, the Strimskogel, Bärenstäffl and Lachenkogel.

Excellent 4 star Clubhotels with fabulous wellness facilities plus a "more inclusive" meal arrangement (full-board including drinks with meals) and a unique activities programme makes it very easy to enjoy the Magic Mountains experience. 
Some of the highlights of this absolute unique activites programme include a 6 way trampoline in our Magic Centre, a football camp with a licensed DFB trainer and sailing and surfing courses operated by a recognised VDWS school on the local lake. MAGIC CARD:

On Saturday evening each guest receives a Magic Mountains Card which acts a lift pass (3 ascents and descents included per week), as a deposit when taking our sporting equipment (equipment subject to availability) and as Club Card enabling free of charge participation in the all of the listed activities. 

Board Arrangement:
The board arrangement commences with dinner on the day of arrival and concludes with breakfast on the day of departure.

• 13 x 24 metre artificial grass small football pitch

MAGIC SURF & SAIL

• A recognised VDWS Surf and Sailing School operates classes from Monday to Friday in what is a perfect location for beginners. A registration fee of € 10,00 per child is payable locally.
• Kids' sailing courses from Monday to Friday for 7 to 11 year olds using "Optimist" dinghies. The course consists of 1,5 hours practical and theory training daily.
• Kids' and youth windsurfing courses from Monday to Friday (from ca. 40 kgs body weight). The course consists of 1,5 hours practical and theory training daily .
• There is also the opportunity to obtain an official sailing or windsurfing certificate. A fee of € 35,00 per child is payable locally (includes the examination).
• Free use from Monday to Friday from ca. 10:00 until 16:00 of windsurfing boards, kids' sailing dinghies, rowing boats and pedaloes (subject to availability, and any courses have priority on equipment)

These faciltiies are also available free of charge to hotel guests. Route Description:

Travelling direction Salzburg/Innsbruck from Munich, take the A8. Continue over the border to Austria and stay on the A1, direction Villach/Salzburg South. Take the A10 (Tauern Motorway) direction Graz/Villach, and exit at Graz/Altenmarkt. Zauchensee is located approximately 10 kilometres south of Altenmarkt.
